ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - As vaccines for COVID-19 are being administered in Alaska, Alaska’s News Source takes a look back at a year’s worth of coverage of the novel coronavirus pandemic. It’s been nearly a year — as Alaska’s first major experience with the impacts of the pandemic was the landing of a repatriation flight on Jan. 28, 2020, with more than 100 American citizens on board, who had been evacuated from Wuhan, China, the city where the novel coronavirus was first discovered.
