AFD: Brush fire reported on Flattop Mountain

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A brush fire was reported Tuesday night on the south side of Flattop Mountain near Upper Canyon Road, according to the Anchorage Fire Department.

A spokesperson for the department said the fire was 60-by-100 feet in size.

The fire was reported at 11:12 p.m. and has been contained by fire crews, according to the spokesperson. He added that the crews were conducting a mop-up of the scene early Wednesday morning.
