ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Southcentral is spending Wednesday with clouds and a few sprinkles/showers. Temperatures will also be muted by the cloud cover. Sunny breaks and warmer temperatures move in starting late Thursday. Seward and Whittier will see showers for today but not huge amounts of rain expected, about 1/2 inch total.

For Southeast, it’s sunshine today and warmer temperatures. Juneau will likely warm to the upper 60s for Wednesday but cooler temperatures return on Thursday as the cloud cover moves back in.

Overall, it’s mostly cloudy across the state with temperatures warming into the upper 60s across the Interior, upper 30s for northern Alaska. Spotty showers across western Alaska as the current front moves through.
