Rain pushes through the state
Anchorage stays windy and mostly dry through mid-week
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A vertically stacked low is churning over the Seward Peninsula, bringing some summer snow to Shishmaref today...it melted through the day though. Check out the photo verification from the FAA Weather CAM system.
Another large area of low pressure is pushing through the Aleutian Chain and Alaska Peninsula. Moisture is widespread through southwest and southcentral and will move to the interior as well.
Winds gusted to 31 mph at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport Tuesday.
