Houston man arrested, accused of hitting man in the head with steel pipe

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A man from Houston has been arrested and accused of hitting another man in the head multiple times with a steel pipe.

Alaska State Troopers responded to a property near mile 58 of the Parks Highway just after 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday after the assault was reported, according to an online trooper dispatch.

The man who was assaulted was airlifted to a hospital in Anchorage with significant injuries, troopers said.

After an investigation, troopers arrested 67-year-old Michael Pulliam on charges of second-degree assault. He was taken to Mat-Su Pretrial in Palmer, troopers said.
