Elizabeth is an award-winning digital content creator with a background in local and national news who has a passion for sharing stories online and on social media.
Elizabeth began her journalism career in New York, where she went to school and spent most of her days working in the city at some of the largest media outlets in the world: Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and CNN.
After marrying her husband, who serves in the U.S. Air Force, Elizabeth moved to North Carolina, where she was a digital producer for WCTI TV 12 and FOX 8/14. There, she helped her team write, edit and produce digital content on a variety of topics including crime, politics and the economy for the station’s website and social media pages.
In 2018, Elizabeth moved to Alaska and joined the KTVA digital team as a digital content producer. Within her first few weeks of starting, she not only experienced her first earthquake ever, but helped cover the 7.1 magnitude quake and its aftermath for the station’s digital platforms. As time went on, she quickly became a team leader, planning, executing and managing coverage for municipal elections and the 2020 Iditarod.
Elizabeth now oversees the day-to-day production of digital content at KTUU/KYES as a digital manager. You can connect with her on social media or via email to share story ideas.
