Photojournalist Michael Nederbrock is a born and raised Alaskan who has worked in the local media for the past 33 years.
He's been working for Alaska's News Source for the past 18 years and loves traveling around the state and the country covering stories that matter to Alaska.
A winner of multiple Emmys and Murrow's and local awards, his favorite achievements have been shooting the Alaska Aces Hockey team win three Kelly Cup Championships in person and sharing that moment with viewers and covering the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.
Mike has also been snowboarding since 1985 and still rips it up!
