Kailey Schuyler joined the WAFF 48 News team in January of 2021 as a Morning Reporter. She grew up in Spring Hill, TN, but is excited to call Huntsville her new home.
Kailey earned her bachelor's degree from Lipscomb University in Journalism and New Media. While at Lipscomb, she was a scholarship cross country and track athlete.
Her passion for journalism stems from sports. She was Lipscomb's first-ever sideline reporter and split her time sidelining there and at Belmont University. The best moment of her college career was working as the color commentator for the Lipscomb vs. Texas NIT Championship in Madison Square Garden.
She found her passion for news while interning at WSMV News 4 in Nashville. She enjoys covering stories that elicit change.
In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, taking her dog on walks, and spending time with friends and family.
If you have a story idea, feel free to reach out to Kailey through email or social media.
