The Municipality of Anchorage boasts an award-winning trail system citywide with more than 120 miles of paved bike and multi-use trails, 130 miles of plowed winter walkways, 105 miles of maintained ski trails and 87 miles of non-paved hiking trails. Anchorage’s trail system threads alongside flowing creeks, beside the Cook Inlet coastline, and through urban greenbelts. From biking, running, walking, and roller blading to skiing, dog mushing, snowshoeing and skijoring, there are countless ways you can enjoy our trails throughout the year.
