One man was arrested Friday morning after being found sleeping in an upstairs office of an Anchorage car rental business.
Kevin Brower was taken into custody, according to MJ Thim, spokesperson for the Anchorage Police Department.
Officers were first called shortly before 11:30 on Thursday in reference to a security alarm going off at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Spenard.
Police on the scene observed the front floor window smashed inward, and "could clearly see an adult male figure walking around on the second floor," Thim said.
Officers entered the building along with a K9 unit, and eventually found a trail leading to an office on the second floor.
There, police found Brower asleep in an office chair. "He was pretty out of it when he woke up," Thim said.
Brower has since been arrested on several charges, including second degree burglary. He was not armed, and it is unclear as to whether anything was stolen.
Thim said that the investigation is still ongoing.
