The Nome Police Department reports Angel Garcia and Jenna Pixey, employees of Children's Services in Nome, have been safely located following an extensive search.

Two adult female employees of the Office of Children’s Services in Nome are missing, according to the Nome Police Department.

Police and fire department volunteers are asking for assistance in locating Angel Garcia and Jenna Pixey, who were last seen in Icy View Thursday evening around 10 p.m.

Nome police report they were seen in a state vehicle, a blue Ford Expedition, license number 39174.

According to a statement from the Department of Health and Social Services, the women were off-duty at the time. “It is not unusual for OCS employees in rural areas to be in possession of a state vehicle after hours,” DHSS says.

OCS is assisting law enforcement in the search for the missing women.
