Anchorage area firefighters honored emergency responders killed on September 11, 2001.
Firefighters exercised in 11-minute intervals on stair steppers at the Alaska Club West. Their goal was to reach 110 floors, the height of the Twin Towers.
Anchorage firefighter Luke Duffy said "To understand what those folks went through, I can't imagine. (I'm) just doing this to remember those folks that died on that day."
