UPDATE: Police arrest woman for alleged assault of Anchorage man

A suspect allegedly involved in the assault case on March 2 has been arrested, after APD asked for help in locating her.
The woman, Norma Kashatok, 32, was arrested and taken to jail, police announced on Monday.
She was found on the 1700 block of West 36th Ave., and taken into custody.
An Anchorage man was found lying unconscious on the ground outside of a Spenard home. Police say he was assaulted.
The victim has not been identified, but according to a community alert issued by the Anchorage Police Department, he was found outside on the 3400 block of Spenard Road.
Police say he had injuries to his upper body. Exactly how he was injured and the nature of his wounds was not disclosed, however after he was transported to the hospital, his condition was listed as life-threatening.
APD is at the scene to investigate what happened. Little is known about how the man was injured.
