UPDATE: Man killed near Dimond High School identified by police
The man found by police, shot and killed Saturday morning, has been identified, according to the Anchorage Police Department.
Kevin Napier, 37, was reportedly shot in the upper body, and died from those shots. APD said in a community statement Monday morning that they are still looking for people to speak with whom may know more about what happened to Napier.
Napier was already dead when police arrived on the scene in the Jewel Lake neighborhood located just down the road from Dimond High School.
No description of anyone thought to be involved is being released at this time, as APD is still conducting the investigation.
MJ Thim, spokesperson with APD, asked for anyone with information, including surveillance video, about this investigation is asked to call Dispatch at 911.

Anchorage Police are investigating a shooting in the Jewel Lake area after a disturbance was reported early Saturday morning, no arrests have been made.
APD say that police dispatch received a report of a disturbance around 2:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of West 88th Avenue. Officers with the patrol division responded, finding a man dead inside an apartment.
Several people were detained for questioning and police report that the death has been determined to be a homicide.
MJ Thim, the communications director for Anchorage Police Department, confirmed that the man had died as a result of a shooting. He could not confirm how many times the person had been shot.
Police say that detectives are looking to speak to anyone who has information about the man's death.
