Channel 2 News honored with four Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards

Channel 2 News is honored to receive four Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for work completed during 2019. Presented by the Radio Television Digital News Association, the award is one of the most prestigious honors for journalism.

“Award recipients demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Murrow set as a standard for the profession of electronic journalism,” according to the RTDNA. Channel 2 News is in the Small Market Television Division.

For the Regional Murrow Awards, the

is recognized as Best Newscast for coverage spanning from summer wildfires to the Alaska State Fair.

Endangered Frontier: Alaska’s Changing Climate
