Female assault victim dies at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital

Fairbanks Police Department are investigating the case of an assault victim who died in the emergency room at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. FPD says an investigation has been initiated and a person of interest has been detained.
Police received a call Thursday morning, shortly before 7:00 a.m. The call was for a female assault victim being treated with CPR in the emergency room.
The victim, identified as 29-year-old Holly Morgan Rae Charlie of Fairbanks, died a short while later. Fairbanks Police Department detectives detained a person of interest around 10:00 a.m. FPD says "further investigation is ongoing at this time."
