After a dreamlike routine in the men's short program, Alaska's Keegan Messing could not have asked for a better free skate routine.

Messing posted a 170.32 in the free skate, bringing his total score to 255.43. That score was good enough for the dual citizen, who lives in Alaska but is competing for Team Canada, to finish in 12th place overall in Men's singles skating.

Japan's Yuzuru Hanyu would win the gold medal with a score of 317.85.
