Magnitude 5.2 earthquake in Katmai felt as far north as Chugiak

A magnitude 5.2 earthquake was recorded just before 7:45 p.m. Monday inside Katmai National Park according to the Alaska Earthquake Center.
Residents from Kodiak to Homer and Anchorage to Chugiak reported feeling the earthquake at 7:43 p.m.
The earthquake had a recorded depth of 79.3 miles in the southwest corner of Katmai National Park and Preserve.
No damage has been reported.
