An area in Wasilla was shut down overnight after a deadly car crash killed one person and injured two others.

Troopers say that they received a call for an automobile wreck just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Schrock Road and Infinite Road.

Amanda Doherty, 36 of Wasilla, was declared dead at the scene of the crash. Two others who have not yet been identified, including the driver, and a 16-year-old passenger, were also injured.

None of the three occupants were wearing their seat belts, troopers said.

The cause is still being investigated, however authorities say the crash occurred when the car, a 1996 Ford Explorer, lost control and rolled over multiple times.

Troopers say the two other occupants "are expected to live."
