Fresh off setting a Mountain West record in the 10,000-meter race, Allie Ostrander is returning to the 49th state.

Ostrander will be running in the Skinny Raven Laird Prosser Memorial Mile this weekend at the Big C Relays track and field meet that will be held at the Dome in Anchorage.

Along with Ostrander, other notable Alaskan track athletes will be returning, including West high grad Hans Roelle, Kodiak alumni Levi Fried and Keith Osowski, Kenai alumni Jordan and Jonah Theisen, and Nickolas Colyn and Adam Marshall. The athletes competing in the memorial mile are expected to run faster than 7 minutes.

There will also be three guest athletes in attendance at the track meet. They include 2012 Olympic silver medalist in the 4 x 400-meter relay Manteo Mitchell, 2016 Paralympic 400-meter guide runner Mason Rhodes and 2017 Big 10 400-meter champion Champ Page.

The Big C Track and Field track meet begins on Friday, April 5 and concludes on Saturday, April 6.
