Four men are recovering from non-life threatening injuries after an overnight shooting left them all hospitalized in Anchorage.

Police initially said five people may have been hurt as a result of the shooting off Elmore Rd., but in an update, said that the fifth person was not connected to the incident.

The Anchorage Police Department said mid-day Thursday that no arrests have been made, and the motive for the shooting is still under investigation.

Anchorage Police Department officers responded to a shooting on the 10600 block of Elmore Rd. late Wednesday night.

Officials said in a release early Thursday that they arrived to find one person with a gunshot wound. First responders took this person to a local hospital.

However, later in the night, four more people showed up to area hospitals with gunshot wounds.

Police said they believe that the four are connected and were involved in the same incident.

The condition of the victims is unknown at this point. If you have any information, you are asked to please contact APD by dialing 311 or by contacting CrimeStoppers at 561-STOP.
