Anchorage Police have arrested a 19-year-old man for the shooting death of a woman in Fairview last month.
Police say Terrance Paleka, Jr. was arrested at about 4:30 this morning by Airport Fire and Police officers as he was on a flight returning from Hawaii. He's charged with second-degree murder.
Paleka is believed to have been the shooter in the death of 30-year-old Salisa Loucks, who was found dead in a vehicle on E. 12th Ave. on Feb. 4. Police say they believe Paleka was in a vehicle next to Loucks' vehicle when he shot her.
Police had initially been looking for 38-year-old Falesavili J. Mataia, who they say was in the vehicle with Paleka, along with others. They have all been questioned and released.
