Seward Highway closed for hours after head on collision
The highway reopened shortly after 10:00 p.m. It was closed for "approximately three hours" in both directions, according to a trooper dispatch. One driver and two passengers were taken to Providence Hospital for minor injuries.

A two vehicle car crash at mile 88.5 of the Seward Highway has blocked traffic.
According to an Alaska State Trooper spokeswoman there are injuries but no word yet on how serious. The wreck was reported to troopers around 5:30 p.m.
Troopers say the tow truck is about 45 minutes away from the scene as of 6:40 p.m. Friday.
There is no word on when the highway will reopen.
