Alaska State Troopers say they were alerted about a student at Teeland Middle School in Wasilla who made a comment threatening to shoot up the school on Tuesday at around 10:30 a.m.
Investigation of the report revealed that the student indeed had a metal case similar to a gun case, but the student in question said that he had only made the comment as a joke.
When the case was opened, investigators found poker chips and a dice case.
Troopers say that no firearm was ever involved in the incident, but the student was released to a parent and charged with Terroristic Threatening in the 2nd degree.
