A Palmer woman and an Anchorage man have been arrested for theft and other warrants, and upon searching their homes, a trove of suspected stolen guns were recovered.

The incident started on Monday, Dec. 10. Then, troopers went to a home on Bodenburg Loop in Palmer for a stolen snow machine recovery. What began as a stolen snow machine turned into additional charges, as suspects were reportedly found with a load of weapons.

Jessica Krieger, 35, of Palmer, was found in possession of five stolen firearms and approximately 15 suspected stolen firearms, AST said. She was charged with five counts of theft, and taken to Mat-Su Pretrial.

Trevor Bernard, 28, of Anchorage, who had two warrants for his arrest, was also found with Krieger in Palmer, and arrested.

According to troopers, the overall investigation into the 15 suspected firearms and the stolen ATV and snow machine is still ongoing.
