Willow road-rage shooting leaves man in serious condition
A road-rage incident in Willow led to a fight that resulted in a shooting that left a man in critical condition, Alaska State Troopers say.
A Trooper dispatch says the incident happened just after midnight, where a road rage incident between two vehicles -- one driven by a man, and one driven by a woman -- occurred northbound on the Parks Highway. The Trooper report says the man followed the woman to the Sunshine Clinic, where she met with her boyfriend.
Troopers say a fight then broke out and the man allegedly involved in the road rage incident was shot. The 25-year-old was flown by helicopter to Providence Medical Center in Anchorage with what Troopers described as serious, potentially life threatening injuries.
No one has been arrested in the shooting, while Troopers continue investigating.
