March 7 Update:

A week after a woman was found dead inside a home in South Anchorage, police have identified who she was.

The victim has been identified as Tiffany Parks, 29, according to the Anchorage Police Department.

Her cause of death was not released, with APD still saying the death is under investigation. However, back on March 1, police did say the death "appears to be suspicious."

Original Story

APD says it got a report around 3:30 p.m. Friday about a body found inside a residence in the 1200 block of W. Dimond. When officers got there, they found a woman who was dead.

No additional details have been released about the woman's identity or the circumstances of her death.

APD's crime scene team is on the scene, and police are asking anyone with information, including surveillance video, to call 311.
