Alaska is projected to see a jobs recovery this year, but economists say it’s likely going to be three or more years before employment numbers return to 2020 levels.
Alaska, and Anchorage, have been in an ongoing recession that, at first, appeared like it might improve in 2020. Then coronavirus arrived and destroyed any hopes of a quick recovery.
