Alaska Black Caucus holds community conversation in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

The Friday Fling events are put on by the Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce and host local artists, food vendors, events and live music under the pavilion in Palmer and in the parking lot across from the Visitor's Center.

"We were born with the idea that tradition was important," said Bunad style show chairperson Sally Norheim Dwyer. "Doing something similar is important so that we don't always have everything being different all the time."
