“The people who come in to donate blood are so happy. They know that they're coming in to save lives, they're coming in to help people, and we’re just so happy to serve them,” Tastee Freez Shift Lead Deborah West said.
Anchorage School Superintendent Dr. Deena Bishop will retire on June 30, after six years of leading the state’s largest school district. In a letter to the community Bishop wrote:
“I have enjoyed an amazing career spanning over three decades in Alaska, doing what I do because of my passion and belief that education matters.”
“We have four beautiful, healthy kids, and it’s just great to see that kind of some of the worries and stuff like that are starting to dissipate,” said the quadruplets’ father Harlen Trosvig.
