Anchorage man sentenced to 21 years in prison for armed robberies

A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to 21 years imprisonment and 10 years of probation for his involvement in several armed robberies across Southcentral Alaska between 2019 and 2020, the Department of Law reports.
A curated mix of dozens of handmade items was on display over the weekend at the Anchorage Museum's "Crafted in Alaska" event, including jewelry, fabric and textile art, printed designs, and pottery pieces.
Close to a dozen Alaska inmates serving time in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley were indicted on contraband charges earlier this month by a Palmer grand jury.
