Ron Bailey of Bailey’s Furniture here in Anchorage started collecting cookie jars back in 1998. Since then, he has amassed more than 700 of the cultural art cookie collection pieces. He has jars from the 1920s all the way up to today. His collection adorns the tops of shelves throughout his retail store, and as a true collector, he says “they are not for sale.” But they are available for viewing at Bailey's Furniture during normal business hours... and what a treat they are!
