Sister Lucia Nguyen works for Catholic Social Services in Anchorage and teaches art and music to people who are trying to escape the realities of life. That includes those in women's shelters & homeless residents. She is passionate about sharing her expression of art as therapy and a way to ease the pain of people in transition — processing emotions by putting them down on canvas. Sister Lucia says they can ALWAYS use more art supplies! They invite Alaskans to donate any size of art canvas, acrylic paints, and paint brushes.
