Jill Flanders Crosby has spent her life in motion as a dance instructor, most of that time right here in Anchorage at the University of Alaska Anchorage as a dance instructor and dance professor. Jill has been a staple in the dance community here for almost 50 years, but her ‘last dance’ will be this Friday at the Anchorage Museum. The performance will be bittersweet as the university is shutting down the dance and theater programs and Jill is retiring after a wonderful career.
