Elverda Lincoln just turned 100 years old. She’s lived at Wasilla Area Senior Incorporated Center since the early 2000s. Born in 1923, she grew up in Minnesota, joined the Navy, served during World War II, married, and moved to Alaska in 1950. In Wasilla, she and her husband started a dairy farm and then got "real" jobs. Life for Elverda has been all about her 13 siblings, her family, and growing old gracefully. She’s got a few opinions and thoughts on living to be 100. She actually blew out all her candles with 14 breaths! Do you have a story idea? Email Dave at allgoodnews@ktuu.com
