ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - In the latest installment of “907 Friyay,” we’re trading waffle cones for crust as we go undercover (well, sort of) to try out some of the best pizza in town.

As the investigative reporter on this case, I’m putting the slices under the microscope — factoring in flavor, texture, and that all-important first bite — as we make stops at Moose’s Tooth, Jamico’s Pizza, and Uncle Joe’s downtown.

Each place has its loyalists, bold claims, and signature style. We’ll break down what makes each pie stand out — from the crust snap to the sauce-to-cheese ratio — and see if the hype holds up when the evidence is served hot.

We set out to follow the crumbs (and maybe a little grease) to the truth.
