Gov. Mike Dunleavy said “time is running out” Thursday to pass a bill in the state Legislature that would provide tax breaks on a proposed liquefied natural gas pipeline in Alaska, and warned that he would call for a second special session for lawmakers if it doesn’t get done by midnight Friday.
The Anchorage Assembly voted Tuesday to formally censure East Anchorage Assembly member George Martinez, while a separate resolution to begin removal proceedings was pushed to the body’s Aug. 4 meeting.
