ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A drug bust in a Wasilla bar earlier this month has led to two more arrests on Friday.

An investigation into drug trafficking at the Mug-Shot Saloon in Wasilla started back in August by the Alaska State Troopers. Troopers say that during the investigation, it was determined that multiple staff members were trafficking illegal drugs out of the bar.

On Dec. 6, law enforcement executed a search warrant at the bar and arrested one man, 45-year-old Mark Nester, for third-degree Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance.

At the time, Troopers said the investigation was ongoing.

On Friday, Dec. 20, at around 10 a.m., the Alaska State Trooper’s Southcentral SWAT Team and Mat-Su Drug Team conducted a search warrant at a residence in Meadow Lakes associated with the ongoing investigation. Two Wasilla residents were arrested.

Justin Jensen, 40, and Andre Davis, 29, were arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.

Jensen and Andre posted bail Monday morning and will have their preliminary hearings at the Palmer Courthouse on Dec. 31.

Law enforcement officers also located Nester, who was currently on supervised release. Nester violated his conditions of release and was in possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Nester was arrested for violating the conditions of his release and third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Nester had his arraignment on Saturday and posted bail Monday morning. His next preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 29.

The investigation is active and ongoing, and additional charges may be filed, according to Troopers.
