ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Sunday marks seven years since the Nov. 30 magnitude 7.1 earthquake.
Just days ago, on Thanksgiving morning, Southcentral Alaska was rocked by another large tremor, this one a M6.0 quake.
The video shows the view from some cameras in the area.
The Alaska Earthquake Center said Thursday’s quake was not an aftershock to the 2018 quake, and the two quakes happening at the same time of year is “merely an interesting coincidence.”
