WATCH: Despite sled fire, Royer first to reach Yukon River

Veteran Iditarod musher Jessie Royer, bib no. 31, was the first to arrive in Ruby, the first checkpoint along the Yukon River at 6:37 a.m. Friday morning. During her journey from Cripple to Ruby, a section of her sled caught on fire. She tells KTUU Special Iditarod Correspondent DeeDee Jonrowe how it happened.
