BERTHA NUNOORUK CAUGHT THIS LIGHTNING IN PALMER THURSDAY EVENING. A RESIDENT OF THE BUTTE SAID THERE WAS THUNDER, LIGHTNING, AND RAIN, AND NOW LIGHTNING REPORTED IN CHUGIAK, A LONG ROLLING CLAP OF THUNDER...SO IT IS ROLLING THROUGH AS WE SPEAK.

PACIFIC SATELLITE-RADAR: - , LOOKS LIKE STORMS ARE DEVELOPING OVER THE TALKEETNA MOUNTAINS AND ARE ROLLING SOUTH-SOUTHWEST. AND THAT COULD LEAD THEM INTO THE VALLEYS AND ANCHORAGE AREA. ANTICIPATE AT LEAST ISOLATED CONVECTION TO PERSIST OVERNIGHT.
