The Anchorage Office of Emergency Management wants residents to be aware of a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10:00 p.m. Tuesday evening until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
The storm could bring with it five to 9 inches of snow accumulation.
That could make driving difficult around the city.
OEM urges people to be prepared for snow covered roads, limited visibility and use extra caution while driving.
Channel 2 Chief Meteorologist Jackie Purcell is forecasting that most of the snow will come after the Tuesday evening commute, but could impact the Wednesday morning commute.
