Looking at Week 1 of the Brian Smith murder trial

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - The first week of a double murder trial involving Brian Smith wrapped up on Thursday at the Nesbett Courthouse in Anchorage.

Smith is charged with killing and sexually assaulting Kathleen Jo Henry in 2019 as well as killing of Veronica Abouchuk sometime between 2017 and 2018.

His trial began Monday, Feb. 5, and is expected to last multiple weeks.
