Julia O’Malley is a journalist, blogger, and for the past nearly three years, amateur urban chicken farmer.
O’Malley has five chickens, their names are Hiro, Baymax, Tadashi, Bubba and Barbara-Lyra.
During the summer months, O’Malley’s chickens can produce a total of five eggs each day. Although food was the main reason for starting her urban chicken farm, the chickens help fertilize her garden and provide a lot of entertainment.
