DOT worker charged with indecent exposure while on the job

A DOT worker was arrested and charged with indecent exposure while on a job near an Anchorage overpass last week.
Evan Rhodes, 23, is accused of masturbating inside a parked vehicle at the Muldoon overpass above the Glenn Highway.
Anchorage Police spokesperson Renee Oistad said a woman reported the incident to police. Rhodes left the scene before officers arrived, Oistad said, and a misdemeanor warrant was issued. The warrant has since been served, and Rhodes made the $250 bail on the charge, according to online court records.
The Department of Transportation told Channel 2 that an inappropriate incident did take place last week and that the department took appropriate action. However, the DOT says it can not provide specifics on the incident.
While a state employee directory still lists an Evan Rhodes as being employed by DOT, as of Monday, a spokesperson for the department says he is not employed with the department.
